Hi I'm Todd

I love to Golf, I'm slightly obsessed with new gadgets and technology, I love my Wife and Kids, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Husband and the proud father of 3 wonderful daughters. As a family we like watching movies together, swimming, going on bike rides and taking trips to visit our family. In addition to spending time as a family, I love to golf and enjoy water sports. I have my MBA and currently work in Business and technology within the financial services industry. I enjoy new technology and finding ways to make things more efficient and help improve people's lives.

Why I am a Mormon

The simplest answer I can give as to why I am a Mormon is because I know that I have received a confirmation in my heart that this church is true. What I mean by true, is that it contains all the saving ordinances, doctrine and authority to allow me to return to live with my Heavenly Father and to be with my family for eternity. I was raised as a member of His church but still had to go through my own conversion to the gospel. My conversion took place not as one grand event but rather a series of faith promoting experiences that reaffirmed by belief that this was the true church on the earth. Those experiences happened through personal prayers, studying the scriptures, and from watching the example of those around me that followed the gospel and seeing the happiness and peace it brought to their lives. Being a member of His church doesn't mean that life is without trials or tribulation, but rather it provides an understanding of the eternal plan and provides perspective and comfort during those times of despair. I am a Mormon because I have knelt in prayer and asked a loving Father in Heaven if the principles and ordinances of the gospel are true. I have received answers to those prayers through the power of the Holy Ghost and I cannot deny what I have felt.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. One way is by providing service both in and out of the church. This includes service to community as well as helping those individuals in our area feel the love of Heavenly Father and grow closer to him and strengthen their testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ. My service also allows me to work with the youth of our area which is a great blessing. I see what good young people they are and how they love the Lord. I also get to see them grow and progress and learn skills that will help them later in life. I also believe that being a good Husband and Father is one of best ways I can live my faith. We believe that the family is central to the plan of happiness our Heavenly Father has given us. We also believe that families can be together forever. These beliefs help motivate me to strive each day to love and care for my children the best I know how. It also causes me to want to be a better husband, and to treat my wife with dignity and kindness and as a special daughter of my Heavenly Father. I also live my Faith each day by trying my best to follow Christ's example. I do unto others as I would have them do unto me. This means being honest in business dealings, helping those that need help, and looking for opportunities to provide selfless service.
