Hi I'm MaliaTonga.

I am a Tongan Bulldog. I am married to a Samoan Ute. My mom told me I was kissed by an angel (weren't we all)? I am a Mormon. :)

About Me

Born in Hawaii. Lived in Utah, raised and grew up in Southern California. Now, back in Hawaii to re-start the cycle of family. My hair color is dark brown, but I have a small blonde streak on the right side of my head (above my ear). To explain this birthmark, my mother told me "You were kissed by an angel." Ironically, my husband's mother also told him he was "kissed by an angel" to explain his freckles. I was married to my sweetheart, Brady (Pakesi) in the LDS Los Angeles Temple (Google it, it's beautiful) for all time and eternity. I was raised by faithful, loving, selfless, hardworking, educated Tongan parents. Their examples provided me with the greatest tools for life. I am the 4th of 5 children. Because of my family's constant support and encouragement, I knew I was (and am) capable of doing anything! That family support combined with previous years of training provided a way for me to acquire a college education through an athletic scholarship to California State University Fresno (Go Bulldogs)! (Because I mentioned it earlier, I'll address it now. My husband was an athlete for the University of Utah, Go Utes!) I have a great love of many things. A few include: sports, photography, arts & crafts, writing, dance, history, cooking and organizing things. -My greatest passion; The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have learned so much from the church and Jesus Christ. Both have instilled in me a desire to strive to be a better person in every way.

Why I am a Mormon

When I read scriptures or hear the words of our leaders and prophets, I can feel deep within my soul and heart that what they offer are absolutely and unequivocally true! How can it not be? This is a church and gospel of love, with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ at the head of it. I see their love everyday in my life. Proof of their great love is found in their gift of the atonement of Jesus Christ. That "supreme expression of love" (term found in the booklet, "True To The Faith") is what fuels me with a desire to be like them and show my gratitude by following them.

How I live my faith

By answering the call of the Lord, Jesus Christ "Come Follow Me". -That is exactly what I try to do, follow and emulate Him in everything I do. I am not perfect and fall short, but He is always there to catch me and help me obtain true progression and joy in this process. To add to my faith, I also heed to a scripture my mother taught me when I was very young. It can be found in the bible in the book of Proverbs, chapter 31, verse 10. "For who can find a virtuous woman, for her price is far above rubies". I have lived by this all my life.
