Hi I'm Patricia Anderson

I am a wife, I am a Mother, I am a Grandmother, I am a teacher, I am a friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I finished a degree in Education just weeks after I had my first baby. I feel very fortunate that I have been able to be home and be a teacher to my children. I have always been involved in the community and schools and especially enjoyed the time I spent serving on an Education Foundation raising money so teachers could provide enriching activities for their students.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the church, but as a young adult I left home and chose not to attend church and be involved for 1 of my college years. I found I missed the life I had known growing up. I wanted to have a home like I had been raised in. I moved to a new city and made every effort to be involved in the church and live a good and wholesome life. This choice brought me good opportunities, good friends, and eventually a great husband and family. I love the quality of life I have as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I have lived a life of rich service in the church. I have taught adults, children and youth. I have held leadership callings that allowed me to organize, plan, and evaluate. I have sat in counsels that allowed me to see how the church coordinates and works together. I have worked at soup kitchens, made quilts, pulled weeds, picked potatoes, canned tomatoes, and prepared a lot of food. Most importatntly, I have had an opportunity to meet and love and serve many wonderful individuals.
