Hi I'm Brian

I work in the music industry designing guitars and amplifiers, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First and foremost I am a husband and dad. I have a wonderful wife and 4 children who mean everything to me. Family life is the best and it is so much fun! I enjoy playing music, reading biographies, and occasionally playing frisbee golf. During my teenager years I was very much into playing the guitar. Some of my favorite musicians were Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, and several lesser-known (but still incredible) Blues guitarists. I would eat, sleep and breathe guitar. I built my first guitar at 14 and I was constantly tinkering with and modifying my equipment. This led me to pursue a career in the music industry. I now have an electrical engineering degree and I design amplifiers and guitars. I enjoy working in the music industry and contributing to the music world in a positive way.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon church by my Mormon mother and a very supportive Father who is a member of another Christian faith. Ever since I was a little boy I have felt a closeness with our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. I knew that they were real and that they were close by. I can remember from an early age learning about Joseph Smith and feeling that he was a Prophet. The first time i read the Book of Mormon I had a very strong feeling that what I was reading was true. The teachings of the Mormon Church make sense in my mind and my heart. I still feel that same closeness with Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and that following his teachings brings great peace and assurance and happiness.

How I live my faith

I enjoy studying and learning about the Gospel of Christ and feeling the Spirit of it. I try to apply the lessons that I learn in my everyday life. It helps influence the way I live and interact with others. It helps me be a better husband and dad.
