Hi I'm Brenda

I am a Mom. I enjoy sewing, gardening and quilting. I am a Registered Nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the Mom to four wonderful grown children. I love the out of doors and enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and gardening. Indoors I like to sew, quilt, cook, can foods, and read. I am also an RN and enjoy caring for people in the clinical setting.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this is the way that brings me true happiness. I was raised in an active LDS family and was privileged to learn the gospel and the teaching of the Savior from childhood at my Mothers' knee. I love the simple songs of the children and the profound teachings of truth in them. I have always known the Church is true, but my testimony has matured as I have gone thorough various stages of life. As I have grown in the Church the teachings of the Gospel have become more precious to me. I delight in knowing that my Savior and Heavenly Father know me personally and have provided a way for me to return to them. I know that the Lords’ Church is once more on the earth with the authority to provide the necessary ordinances for salvation and this knowledge gives me amazing joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in the church. I have been privileged to serve a Welfare Services Mission to the wonderful people of Guatemala. I have felt the love of our Savior as I have worked with both the youth and the children of the Church. I have felt His love for the individual Children of God and His desire to find the "Lost Lambs". I have learned to love people from all over the world as my brothers; sons, parents, nieces and nephews, and family friends have served and shared their love for these children of God in far-flung places of the world.
