Hi I'm Joseph

I'm a Mormon and have been all my life. I grew up in Utah but have lived all over the United States and in Europe.

About Me

I'm gratefully married to a wonderful woman for over 41 years. Family is very important to us and we love to be with our children and grandchildren.  I've worked in a variety of occupations, primarily construction management, which has led us to move around the country some.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were Mormon and I was, therefore, raised in the church. My father's side of ancestry dates back to the Restoration of the gospel and church organization. Although having been taught from my youth, there came a time when I felt strongly that I must know of myself and stand on my own beliefs. That process of knowing for myself continues and my beliefs and faith grow as I search, question and practice. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints truely is God's church and is lead by living prophets under the direction of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for my relationship with Jesus that gives meaning and purpose to all else I do. His grace and mercy and love are present and powerful in my life.

How I live my faith

Living the life that Jesus Christ would have us live is an ever present challenge. He, however, is patient and willings to accept me as I struggle to improve. I live my faith by endevouring to be an example of the believers and serve my wife, children and grandchildren. I strive to be honest, open and fair with my work mates, neighbors all whom I meet. I have been mercifully dealt with by my Savior and, therefore, try to be so with all others. Church service and activity with others of the same faith is a great boon to my life. I serve in any way that I can and am called upon to do. Happiness and contentment come to me as I do so and I hope that my life can be of service to my God as I serve other people.
