Hi I'm Scott

I grew up in the western United States. I love to Bike, Run and spend time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a happily married Man with 7 children. I have been an engineer for a high tech company for 18 years. I love to be outside excercising and being active. I'm currently enjoying endurance events such as 100 mile bike rides, hiking the grand canyon, and doing triathlons. I love to figure out how things work and I like to fix things that are broken.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family and feel blessed by this wonderful experience. My Father taught us that we should respect women, work hard and help other people. I love to work with youth and see the light of Christ grow in their lives. I love the opportunity to help people who are in need, as I serve in the church. My life is complete with the guidance of the Holy Ghost. I have found true happiness in my live with the blessing of being eternally married to a wonderful wife and 7 wonderful children

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by following the example of the Savior. I know that Jesus Christ is the only perfect person who has lived on the earth. His Atonement is the means by which we can repent of our sins, forsake them and return to our Heavenly Father. I strive to apply the Atonement in my daily life, so I can be like my Savior. By following the counsel and example of modern day Prophets I can become a better husband, father, and member of our community. I strive to live my faith by serving in the church and I balance this with my employment and my family life. When I live my faith, I find the balance that I need in my life. I serve as Bishop in our congregation and I’m blessed to spend a good portion of my time working with the youth of our church.
