Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently in the Arizona Army National Guard. I have deployed once to Kosovo. It was an interesting experience for me and my family especially for my wife and at the time two kids. Since then we have added one more to the fold. I enjoy building and flying remote control airplanes. I also enjoy playing a game or two of Starcraft to the chagrin of my lovely wife. I'm currently attending school. I'm working on finishing my Associates in electronics engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

Without the gospel in my life I don't know what I would be doing. The gospel gives me assurance and a plan for my life that brings guidance, contentment, peace, not to mention joy. Many people that I have talked with at work and school think that some of my beliefs are restrictive and controlling. I find it just the opposite. It opens up possibilities that would not be there if I weren't following the gospel standards. I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior and the Savior of all man kind. I have a knowledge that we have a prophet today who leads and guides Christ's church. I also know that the Book of Mormon is a testament of Jesus Christ and goes hand in hand with the Bible. This knowledge makes life so much more exhilarating.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the fourteen to fifteen year olds young men in my church. Its a great calling that I enjoy very much. We work in conjunction with the Boy Scouts of America. I enjoy getting to mentor the young men through this stage of life and also going on scout camp outs.
