Hi I'm TJ

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi i'm TJ. I have grown up in a rurual community with with good small town values. I was an avid sports participant in high school. I was able to take state 2x in wrestling and track, and i was an First team all-state football player. I played a year and a half of college football but was injured in the process so now I am currently just going to college and working. I like to play the guitar and enjoy most recreational activities although most of the time I can be found taking a good nap or studying in my free time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My Mother was baptized into the LDS faith after she had met my Father. My Father baptized her and 3 years later I was born. I would say a big part of my remaining in the church and for stay active is because of the Book of Mormon and Prayer. In High school I was searching for something more to life. I had always been successful in athletics but felt that i lacked something. I felt an emptiness inside of me. I began to read the Book of Mormon and to pray everyday. I remember being able to feel more peace and feel as if the emptiness was filled. My conviction and knowledge have since grown from those small acts of faith. I know this is the Church of Jesus Christ. All can come to know for themselves if they will read the Book of Mormon and pray sincerely to know that it is true.

How I live my faith

It is a challenge at times to avoid all the temptations that are out there in the world, but we are not alone. I testify that is is possible to not partake of the bad things of this world. I have often been in environments where living the way that I do, is not the popular thing. I strive to remain true always to the principles of virtue, integrity and obedience. So often as a college aged young man I am faced with inappropriate music, television and conduct, but I pray for help to avoid such things. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be able to share a wonderful message of peace and I strive to live worthy to be able to share such a wonderful message with others.
