Hi I'm Terrie

I'm a wife and Mother. I love sewing and crafting. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of two. After graduating with a bachelors degree in Family Financial Planning and Counseling, I decided my most important job would be that of a mother. For the past 20 years I have been a stay at home mom. I enjoy sewing anything, but mostly quilt tops. Walking for exercise with friends is something I also enjoy. In my free time you can find me reading, mostly fiction, but some historical novels.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to Mormon parents and grew up going to church every Sunday. As I grew up and moved out of the house I continued to attend my local LDS ward. I have always had a quiet peaceful assurance that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. On my own I found I had to rely on my own testimony that the gospel is true. I prayed and read my scriptures to increase my personal testimony. As I grow older I continue to learn and strengthen my knowledge and testimony of the church. I know that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior and that because of Him I can be forgiven and return to live with my Heavenly Father. I know that if I am obedient on earth, I will live with my family again in the next life.

How I live my faith

I am involved with the women's organization in my ward. I help plan activities and meetings to help women in their spiritual and temporal lives. We learn about things like scripture study, homemaking, and personal improvement. I love being involved and getting to know these women.
