Hi I'm Ronnie

I am a wife, mother of 4, grandmother of 16. I have been an academic counselor for a university. I love people. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I spent my younger years as a stay-at-home mother and never thought I would work. I loved being a wife and mother home with my kids. Due to a change in my hubands employment, we both became employed at a major university. I became an academic advisor at a large university. I loved working with the college kids. They are filled with such energy. My hobbies are definitely people and family. They all make me laugh alot!

Why I am a Mormon

I definitely took the time and opportunity to study and know for certain what I would believe. I put alot of study and work into this decision. I chose to be a Mormon. The teachings of the LDS doctrine, gave me every tool I needed to decide how to cope with life and how to learn as I went through the trials that we each seem to have. The basic teachings always answered my questions and I did have alot of questions. I seemed to ask them one at a time. The teachings in the Book of Mormon are so clear and easy to understand. My answers came from scripture and our modern day prophet. I found that all scripture lined up together. Paul in the New Testament was exact with Nephi in the Book of Mormon. I found myself becoming more and more complete, in understanding why I was born into my family. I understood what I am to do on earth and why I am here. My answers are clear and easy to see. I understand trials. They have become comfortable because I understand the purpose of trial in general. I understand and know that I can do this life but only with help from Jesus Christ. As I read the Book of Mormon throughout my life, I understood that it is ONLY with the Saviors help that I can accomplish my life and understand why and what I am doing. I am so thankful for all of this knowledge.

How I live my faith

The happiest part of my life is my family. I have learned about God and faith by being a wife and mother. I study the scriptures and try to practice the things I learn with my family. I have learned how to trust God. But I learned step by step. I will always study, learn and then apply. I do this daily. I am completely sure that the doctrines in the LDS church are true and correct. Another important part of my learning has been how to work as a team with my husband. It has been the greatest feeling as we finally began to meet the needs of each other. He is such a wonderful person and I am so thankful to have him by my side. Again, I learned all this from the LDS doctrines. Within our church, we all have the opportunity to serve and help each other. To me, the family just gets bigger and bigger. I am happy. I love family. I love people. I love to learn truth. Life is good.
