Hi I'm Kristi Ann

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of 4 children. I have an associates degree in Accounting but currently am a full-time stay-at-home mom. My children and I love to plant a garden, watch it grow and then reap it's rewards. We enjoy being in nature, whether it is stopping and watching a spider in it's web on the way to school or going on a family hike in the woods and everything in between. I also enjoy sewing, music (flute and piano in the privacy of my own home) and serving where the Lord asks me to. Family is a huge part of my life as both my husband and I have lots of extended family. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have that I will be able to be with my family for the eternities if I but live righteously.

Why I am a Mormon

I know it is true. That is why I am a Mormon. I was raised a Mormon. My parents were Mormon. Their parents were Mormons. Many of my ancestors were Mormons, too. One of my ancestors came from a very wealthy family in England. He joined the Mormon church and his family disowned him. They told him he could have his wealth back if he denounced his new religion. He would not. He earned money to pay for passageway to the United States for his wife, two small children, mother-in-law and himself. When he arrived in the USA, he was a lone man as his wife children had died and his mother-in-law returned to England. Due to his faith in what he knew was true, he continued forward. He remarried and after several generations, I am still a member today. Is this the only reason I am still a Mormon? No way! I have read and prayed and received quiet witness that this gospel is true time and time again. Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. We have a living prophet today just as there were living prophets on the earth in the time of the Bible and other books of scripture. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior! In the hours of darkness and grief, as well in times of light and joy I have felt his presence and his love for me. I know he is real!

How I live my faith

I have served in the Parent Teachers Association at my children's school and have enjoyed many associations through that experience. I served an 18-month mission in the Santiago, Chile area. The people there are wonderful, faith filled people. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve with them! Currently I work with the youth in our church. I enjoy being with them and feeling their strength and testimonies of what is true. I visit women in our church and have women that visit me. We gain strength and wisdom from each other during these interactions. I love being a visiting teacher as it guarantees me the opportunity to meet and become friends with people of all ages and walks of life. This enriches my life greatly.
