Hi I'm Brad

I grew up in Massachusetts. I am a father of two children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of two beautiful children. A three year old boy and a six month old girl. I love to hike and take pictures and I really enjoy watching professional sports.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was growing up, I tried to observe the adults and families that seemed to have the strongest family relationships. I also looked at my peers and the friends of my older siblings to see who ended up heading down paths that I though would be successful and happy. I noticed that many of my mormon friends had made lifestyle choices that led them to make decisions that led to less challenges than many of my friends of other faiths. When I had some challenges in my teenage years, I was invited to read and pray about the Book of Mormon. I read the book and prayed as sincerely as I could when I was finished. Two days later when contemplating about what I read, I felt amazingly peaceful and loved. I felt that Jesus knew my problems and that he loved me and wanted the best for me. I knew that what I had read was true. I continued to pray about other aspects of the church and received answers to my prayers as well. Knowing that I could ask God and receive answers from Him changed my life.

How I live my faith

I work with the middle aged men in our congregation and discuss how we can be better fathers and husbands. It is so rewarding and comforting to know that other men are feeling many of the same things I am feeling. It's great to learn from others what worked for them in situations like I am in now.
