Hi I'm Dan Brinton

I am a Canadian living in Arizona. I just had identical twin boys that are my motivation for eternal success. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Dan, a Canadian living in Arizona. My family and I moved here 3yrs ago. I am a full time Truck Driver, and a Real Estate Investor. The biggest news of my life right now is that we just had twin identical boys! They are truly a motivation for me to achieve great lengths in this life and in the eternities. I am also blest with 3 daughters who I love dearly. They are all great baby sitters. They are examples to their friends in choosing the right. I leave the best of our family for last... my WIFE! She is the most determined, self disciplined, person I know. She is a vital part of my life. I enjoy doing lost of things outdoors. I used to fly airplanes, and have a strong desire to do that again some day. As a family, we love to go on hikes, bike rides, boating, swimming, sledding, and road trips. I love living here in the Arizona heat! Considering the extend of cold I've been in in Canada, would much rather prefer the heat over cold any day. I will probably live here for a long time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon Church, and am thankful for that. I consider it a privileged, to have learned the gospel teachings at a young age. I have gained a knowledge that this church is true through exercising my faith and being obedience to the commandments until the feelings of the spirit have brought me these truths. I spent 2 years in Santiago Chile, serving a mission to teach the people there what I know is true. I saw many peoples lives change as they accepted the promptings of the spirit and were converted to the Lords true church. How did I become a Mormon? Years ago in the 1960's, my Grandparents accepted the gospel in Peru! Brought to them by a couple of Missionaries at that time. They were one of first families in Peru to accept and join the Church at that time. My Mother was only 13yrs old at that time. A few years later, they moved to Canada where my parents met. My father had just joined the Church not long before by a couple of Missionaries that visited him too. I am truly thankful for the open mind and soft hearts my parents had to have been able to feel the spirit and obey those promptings to be baptized.

How I live my faith

Because of the knowledge I've gained through serving a Mission in Chile, and learning the Spanish language, I feel privileged to serve in a Spanish branch! I am a Counselor in the Branch Presidency. I have shared my testimony many times with the congregation of my knowledge and conviction of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a family, we are obedient to the counsel to have family scripture study and prayers daily. We enjoy Family Home Evening each week and know that the teachings we constantly learn are a great benefit to our spiritual growth. We are careful to choose appropriate TV shows and movies that will be uplifting, and avoid those that bring feelings of hate, violence, crime and immorality. I love to see the Temple and attend as often as permitted. My greatest hope is that all of my Children be married and sealed in the Temple. I know that families are eternal, and we can happily live together forever.
