Hi I'm Chris and Shaunae

We rock, ice, and mountain climb, and we're Mormons.

About Me

We've been married for almost six years, and have enjoyed traveling together to foreign countries to experience other cultures. At home we love being outside rock climbing, hiking, whitewater kayaking, downhill mountain biking, unless it's raining-in which case, watching a good show or dancing with our friends makes for a good evening.

Why I am a Mormon

Realizing how beautiful this life is, how wonderful my friends & family are, and finding satisfaction from working so hard in school, work, and struggling through the trails we all have - there simply is no way that the life we know here on earth is all there is! And its not! Our heavenly Father has not just a plan, but a perfect one, one that incorporates everyone, and will lead to happiness here on earth and prepares us for after this life. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, AKA "Mormon" because we know that God and his son Jesus Christ truly love us. They want us to live with them again.

How I live my faith

We live our faith by being active in our community, participating in service oriented projects such as neighborhood clean up. This includes, mowing lawns, helping up keep yards, picking up trash. One of the best ways we've found to live our faith is by helping those who need it, whether it be giving a ride to someone on the side of the road or taking time to say hi and thanks to the people that we pass each day. The key is not only taking advantage of opportunities to serve when they are presented, but looking for them.
