Hi I'm Lexia

I am the mother of six children. I am an art teacher at the local high school, I love to paint landscapes, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of six children and I have been married to my best friend for over 35 years. I have been a stay-at-home mom and I am currently working full-time. I enjoy the world around me. I like the outdoors, reading, sewing, painting and drawing and I never have enough time to do all the things I want to do.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in the church, I found my own testimony, or conviction, of the gospel of Christ when I was sixteen. That testimony has grown and become the bedrock on which my life is built. Time, personal experience and a deepening understanding of Jesus Christ has strengthened my commitment to follow Christ.

How I live my faith

Knowing I have a loving Heavenly Father, who knows me and will help me, makes each day's challenges a little easier to handle. All the things I do, the choices I make, the way I interact with my students, other teachers, and my family are all based upon the knowledge that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He made it possible, through His atoning sacrifice and resurrection, for me to return to live with My Heavenly Father. My faith in Him helps me to reach out to those around me, touch their lives in a positive way and spread light in a world seems to be increasingly getting darker.
