Hi I'm Brittany

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in rural IN, have lots of brothers and sisters, and currently still live close to all of my family. I studied art, and then Tourism and Event Management in college, and I worked for a wedding planner. I am now married with 2 kids, and currently stay at home with them. I enjoy art from drawings and paintings to fashion and decorating. I read a book a week, and have too many favorites to name. I love the water and enjoy swimming at the pool or beach, and the happiest moments of life are spent with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the church, but didnt have a strong testimony until after I had left home for school and started to include church less in my life. I hadnt realized what I had had being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints until it was absent. I have always known that the church is true, and now that I have a family of my own, it is clearer to me just how important that knowledge is. I know where I was before I came to this earth, I know my purpose in life, and I know what will happen to me after I die. Being a Mormon has also helped me to realize how important and special it is to be a wife and a mom, and that we are truly daughters of our Heavenly Father. I continue to try to live as I should and follow Christs example because I know that it will lead to my family's eternal happiness. Jesus Christ is our Savior, and through his gift of the Atonement, we can be forgiven and return to our Heavenly Father, and be with those we love.

How I live my faith

Currently I work with the youth at church, by teaching on Sundays and planning and attending activities during the week. The goal is to help them to cultivate stronger testimonies, and to help them realize what great potential they have to do good things in this life. I also try to do those things in my own life that make me a better person, and make my Heavenly Father happy. Things like helping others, trying to be kind and patient with my children, studying the scriptures, and always being willing to share what I believe in. I am nowhere near to being perfect at any of these things, but I know that if I keep trying I can accomplish much more.
