Hi I'm Ami.

I grew up in Wyoming. I'm a writer. I'm a mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a stay-at-home mom, I spend my day taking care of two beautiful children. I love to read, cook, bake and decorate our home. I graduated with a BS in Communications with an emphasis in Print Journalism. I continue to write online articles. I love to learn and if I could, I'd constantly be enrolled in school. I play the flute and love all varieties of music. I enjoy being outside hiking, walking, running, swimming, or just sitting in the grass with my family. If I could, I'd move my whole family to Disneyland.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I've found pure joy in the gospel. This religion teaches principles that answer life's toughest questions and bring eternal happiness. This church encourages a healthy lifestyle physically, spiritually and emotionally. As a Mormon, I have a constant support group made up of those in our congregation. I can't imagine being as happy without this church.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon, I have the opportunity to be involved in many areas of my church. My specific calling, is to teach the 16 to 18-year-old girls. I am thankful for this opportunity as this is a delicate age and I love to be able to provide these girls with extra support. I also enjoy participating in the extra activities with the women in my church. I love attending book groups, play groups and other organized activities. I enjoy participating in service activities with the various groups in my church.
