Hi I'm Steve

I am a father of five. I live in beautiful Colorado. I'm a restaurateur and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of five children. I live in Colorado, but have lived in Utah, Oregon, Kansas and Brazil. I served an LDS mission in Curitiba, Brazil. My family and I later lived in Sao Paulo, Brazil where we made many friends and grew to love the Brazilian culture. After returning to the United States, a friend and I started a Brazilian restaurant so that we could not only enjoy the food of Brazil, but could also share the Brazilian cultural with friends and family. We now have 4 restaurants and are growing. I enjoy the outdoors, music and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have seen the joy and happiness that living the gospel brings to my life and to the lives of those around me. I have been blessed to have received a testimony as a result of reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it as a young man. The spirit of the Lord has brought peace to my heart and soul through trials and difficulties in my life. I really appreciate the support that the church provides to families. As I have tried to raise my children to be good people, the tools and resources that the church provides to help families have been invaluable. I am grateful to my Savior, Jesus Christ, for the atonement and for the peace and knowledge that the atonement has brought into my life.

How I live my faith

My faith plays an important role, both in my work as well as my everyday life. At the restaurants, I have been able to apply principles that I learned through my faith--honesty, integrity, hard work, respect, stewardship, going the extra mile--to create a vision and purpose for my business as well as training that helps young people develop character. In my church, I help to train and support the organizations that teach the gospel to children, youth and adults.
