Hi I'm Wade

I am a father of two boys with a wonderful wife which I love dearly. We enjoy our great world together. We are all Mormon.

About Me

I am a father and husband first and love my family dearly. I enjoy every minute I have to spend with my wife and boys. As a family we are active outdoors and indoors with all sorts of sports, camping, playing board games and computer games, and enjoying this wonderful country. For work, I am a flight instructor and fly around the country training clients how to fly and stay safe. Flying is a passion, and I am very lucky to have a family that supports me and what I do for a living. It is a lot of fun to take the boys and wife on a trip in a small plane and show them this country from a very different perspective.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of no particular church. My family was Christian, but did not spend time going to church every week. I was introduced to the LDS church by my soon to be wife. She had actually just returned from her mission when I was packing up my ski bum life in Colorado to go back to work in Seattle. Well that is where my life changed in innumerable ways. After the LDS missionaries gave me the discussions and answered my questions, I became a member of the church. My girlfriend then fiancee, waited a year after I was baptized before we got married, so we could be married in the Denver temple. It was a beautiful experience, and I will never forget that day. Being a Mormon to me is special. Knowing what things are in this world, from the perspective that I had before meeting my wife, made me realize how special it is to have the gospel in my life. I am a Mormon because I know that it is the right thing to do, and I have so much more power over my life. Faith was very difficult for me to understand until I prayed for the truth to be shown to me. Now I know that my heavenly father is there and listening to me and wants to answer my prayers. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has brought that to me and changed my life forever.

How I live my faith

As a member of the church you receive a calling which gives you duties to perform during church and throughout the week. There are a lot of possibilities. I have been involved teaching children from ages of 2 years up to adults. I have been a boy scout leader which I truly enjoyed, and I am now the in charge of organizing the classes that are taught for one hour of church.
