Hi I'm Sara

I'm a busy mommy of 4, I'm a reliable friend, but, best of all I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a part member Mormon home. My mother was very faithful in taking us to church every Sunday while my dad was never really on board. Seeing the difference first hand of the lives that my two parents lead has given me strength and understanding for the life that I want to achive and lead for my 4 beautiful children and my husband. I feel that it has been an absolute blessing to be a mother. It's not always easy and sometime I feel like a glorified babysitter. But, when I wake up to a happy baby with a smile on his face. those are the precious moments that I hold dear in my heart. Or, when I overhear my daughter tell her stuff animals how much she loves them. My family are also my "taste testers" I love to cook I have to confess I am not very good at it. but, they are gracious enough to try any creation that I conjure up. "I should have this whole cooking thing down by the time I am a grandmother" I enjoy reading, going on bike rides, camping in our R.V.I am not so crazy about big spiders, tent camping scares me And teaching my children the fundamentals of hard work by rowing our canoe around our pond.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason why I am a Mormon is because  Our mortal experience is designed to test what we really care about, what we really believe, what we really want to become, and how we really feel about our Father and His Son. I feel that one of the biggest qualities that sets Mormons apart is the way they display their happiness. I truly believe that I am a daughter of God, that he loves and cares for me and I can communicate with him daily and he knows my name and cares about me. If you truly know that. It helps you achieve so much more in this life. You become aware that you will be judged by the intents of your heart. But, you will also want others around you to feel of God's love that he has for each one of his children.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by reminding my self that time is a priceless gift. If I remind myself of this then I am able to take time for the things that matter most in my life. I enjoy voluntering in my childrens elementary school classrooms. I know that the teachers appreciate it, but, the enthusiam that the children share is infecious. I also work with the Youth in our church mostly the Young Women, they teach me so much, they share many struggles, I am happy to share my experiences with them. But, I truly admire the strength that they display and the values they uphold. I also love to do any kind of community service project I can get my hands on. Jesus Christ is my example. He was always serving others. I want to always keep my life simple enough that I have time for my family's needs and those around me. and in return I will be filled with the love I need to be a well round person.
