Hi I'm Patrice.

I'm a truck driver, a husband, a father, and a community emergency disaster volunteer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the father of two girls. I have been married for 25 years. I'm a professional truck driver, a CERT and amateur radio emergency operator volunteer. I love the outdoors and enjoy family activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I converted to the church when I was 19. My parents were themselves new members. My two older brothers and I were baptized by my father on a cold November day in France. I knew the church was true and acquired a testimony of the Gospel. I fulfilled a mission to California, where I preached the gospel to those who were interested with the gospel. While there, I had the opportunity to read and study the Book of Mormon from cover to cover and the spirit testified of the truthfulness of it. Since then, I have enjoyed reading it over and over, each time discovering and learning new principles. I know the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true and living church on the face of the earth. I know the book of Mormon is true. It was translated by a true prophet of God. Joseph Smith was that man. He restored the church in these last days through divine guidance. Today, we have a prophet who guides the church and is the mouthpiece of our Heavely Father. I hope, you too, can have the opportunity to read and ponder the teachings found in the Book of Mormon. I know these things to be true. I bear this testimony in the name of Jesus-Christ.Amen.

How I live my faith

Through volunteer work in different community relief organizations, I have been able to live and share the divine principles that I have embraced some 30 years ago. I also serve in my ward as the emergency preparedness coordinator. I participate in organizing emergency preparedness fairs and, at the same time, share with others, how we can prepare temporally as well as spiritually. I have enjoyed other positions in the church throughout the years; from librarian to secretary and counselor. I welcome new positions as they help me challenge myself, grow, and most importantly serve others.
