Hi I'm Julie

I'm a Beauty Consultant. I'm a Mom to 5 wonderful kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a part time beauty consultant, and a mom to 5 children and I have been married to my sweetheart for over 20 years! I also work a part time job at the local gym. Life has been full of lots of challenges, but the most rewarding part of life is my family. I obtained an education in Medical Records and Transcription and I have worked in a variety of jobs over the years. My hobbies include cake decorating, baking, sewing, playing the guitar, singing and reading. My dad taught me how to dig in and work when it was needed, so I have found myself doing many different things like fixing plumbing, appliances, cars, cabinets, drywall, flooring, painting and yard work. I grew up on a farm so I have experienced much, but I am not afraid to learn how to do just about anything. I have a curious mind that loves to learn new things. My favorite thing in the whole world is just sitting around with my husband and kids talking, laughing and having a great time together. I have many happy moments knowing that my oldest son is currently serving a mission for our church and he has the opportunity to share his belief and love for Jesus Christ everyday!

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Jesus Christ. When I read the Book of Mormon, my heart is filled with the love of God. I know the words in those scriptures and in the Bible are true. The words of the scriptures speak to my heart and help me through the struggles of everyday life as if they were written just for me. The teachings of Jesus Christ are the basis of my belief system. It is so beautiful to me and the Holy Spirit has born witness to these truths over and over in my mind and in my heart. I could never imagine trying to get through the challenges of life without them. All of my happiness and joy comes from a deep rooted testimony of a loving Heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful everyday for my testimony of these things and the hope and love that I feel by being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday, I go to church with my family. I love how I get so uplifted each week when I attend church with my family. It is a special time for me to remember covenants I have made with God. My younger children also get to meet with children their own age to learn new things in church. It's wonderful to belong to such a wonderful "family" of friends. I know that no matter where I travel, I can find instant friends in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I also work with the young women in my area. As a Young Women leader in my church, I teach gospel related lessons on Sunday, and help them plan fun and meaningful activities during the week. I meet each Wednesday night with the 12 and 13 year old girls. We have so much fun together and learn of ways to make life more meaningful. We have a program in our Young Women group called "Personal Progress" and it gives us opportunities to make goals for ourselves and learn new skills to help us become better individuals, increase our love for our families, ourselves, others and for our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is rewarding to work on these things with my own daughters. It helps them in so many ways to be ready to go out and face the world when they are grown and its time for college. I like to take time out once a week on Monday to spend time with my family. It is a time that we can learn something together, have fun together, pray together and just regroup for the upcoming week. I love my life because I know that I am a daughter of God!
