Hi I'm Brian Hazelgren

I grew up in America. I've written several books and love to teach. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of six children, with two set of twins in the mix. I love to spend time with my family. I have written several books on entrepreneurship and business management and train executives from around the world. I taught MBA students at a major university for 10 years as an adjunct professor. I played four sports growing up and played on a national championship football team. I have raised over $1 billion for charity and enjoy raising charitable funds, and helping others find success. I am deeply passionate about U.S. and world history and enjoy learning of other leaders of countries and how they shape the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have received many witnesses of the divine purpose of my life in Gods plans, and how the Savior has made it possible for me to repent, and earn my own salvation. I served a mission for the LDS church in Holland and Belgium, and this helped build the foundation for my spiritual growth and further development in the Gospel. I am Mormon because I asked God about growing up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and if the church was true. I read the Book of Mormon as a teen, and received my answer that the Church and the Book of Mormon are true. This knowledge was something I wanted to share with others, and I gave up two years of school, athletics and a college scholarship, and the social scene, to be able to share the restored Gospel with more of Gods children. I am Mormon because through the restored Gospel, and privilege of holding the Holy Priesthood, I am able to bless my family and others physically, spiritually and emotionally. Acting as a mouthpiece for God, I am able to bless many more of Gods children and help them understand that He is intimately aware of their needs and wants them to find happiness and joy in this life. I am Mormon because I can attend the House of the Lord, the temple, and learn of Gods plan for me and my family. I can feel the peace and love of our Father in Heaven by attending the temple, and find greater happiness to deal with life's challenges. I am Mormon because I can partake of the sacrament each week and renew the covenants with God that I made when I was baptized. I am Mormon because I know that I can be with my family through this life, and throughout eternity. I can be with them forever, and this knowledge is of great importance to me.

How I live my faith

I serve in the Church in callings that allow me to learn new things and better myself. I am grateful to serve others, because as the Savior served so many when he was on earth and gave me a good example of service, I too can help others. There are so many opportunities to serve, and I have served in many different areas of the church in leadership positions; spending time with the youth; teaching Gospel classes; working with non-LDS church members and helping them understand things about who we are as Mormons. I am grateful to be able to serve church members, and non-members, or people not of our faith, in so many different ways.
