Hi I'm RICHARD

I Grew up in California but now I live in Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Criminal Investigator for a Federal Law Enforcement Agency. I am a husband and father. I enjoy reading and watching movies, Music, and date nights with my wife. I enjoy playing with my kids and watching baseball football and basketball with my son. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and spending quality time at home. I love good food and ejoy eating out with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church. I was originally baptized a Catholic, but grew up primarily attending protestant churches. I met my wife about 8 years ago and she introduced me to the church and I was very impressed with her and felt compelled to learn more. I took the discussions and was quite suprised to learn that they addressed many of the questions and issues I had had going to the different churches of my youth. I had asked myself many times the same question Joseph Smith asked in the Sacred Grove. If there is only one God then there can only be one truth and if that is true then how can there be so many different churches and doctrines and what happens if I choose the wrong church? I often wondered about how Heavenly Father could condemn the majority of the human race because they chose to believe in the wrong church. The missionaries gave me the answers to those questions and many more and now I understand the Plan of Salvation and the reason for being. It is truly remarkable to hold the Priesthood and what a impact it has on my family and to belong to a church set up according to Jesus Christ's plan. I am a Mormon because I have read the Bible and the Book of Mormon and I have prayerfully asked to know if it is true and the Holy Ghost has testified to me that it is true and that the Bible and the Book of Mormon are the word of God and provide the guide for us to return to live with our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending mt church meetings every Sunday and by listening to and heeding the advice of our Prophet and his counselors. I excercise the priesthood authority in my home to benefit my wife and children. I try to find opportunities to serve others. I try to live my life as if Jesus Christ were walking along side me and considering what he would think of my actions.
