Hi I'm Brandon Gunter

I'm a father. I'm divorced. I'm from Seattle. I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am a single divorced dad of 3 boys. My boys are my world. I love things that go fast, computers, sport, music, and art. I love travel and learning about new cultures; learning about their history and applying the best of their cultures in life. Family for me, means having people around me to share the things in life that are truly important.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons why I am Mormon, none of them easy to explain or to forget. I think that first and foremost, I am Mormon because when I was first out on my own and away from my parents I had to find out for myself if all that being a Mormon means is the right thing for me. Long story short, I asked the only individual the truly knows if being a Mormon is the right thing for me and Lord gave me confirmation that this is where I needed to be. My life has had some exquisite highs and some really low lows, but through it all being a Mormon has provided me with a path and a set or moral beliefs that I can cling to and better myself and find happiness. Lastly, being Mormon has given me an opportunity to develop a personal relationship with my Savior and with that, I can overcome any challenge that life may have for me.

How I live my faith

There is always area for improvement in how I live my faith. I feel that I live my faith through my example of how I live my life everyday. Serving in the Church and attending church meetings is all well and good, but it is the true faith to have the charity and the love of others that the gospel of Jesus Christ prescribes. I work hard to try to improve on that every day. Again, I am not perfect and there are days I struggle, but I try and the Lord gives me opportunity to try again. :)
