Hi I'm Connie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a lifelong member of the Church, but also had to build my own testimony. I am a wife and mother of four children and grandmother of three. I met my husband in college and we have been married many years now. I love to read, garden, play with my grandchildren and being a mother has been a fullfilling, though challenging, calling. We entertain often in our home and love to have people here. I keep photo journals of my family and friends and our experiences in life. I am organized and active. I have served as a volunteer in the community in many capacities especially in the PTA/PTO and served as the President on two separate occasions.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in this gospel with all my heart. I, too, had to find out for myself if this gospel and church are true and the Holy Ghost has repeatedly touched my heart and mind with a resounding yes. I consider my testimony to be the very center of me, deeply attached to my heart strings. I daily thank my Father in Heaven and Savior for the deep abiding faith I have within me and the opportunity to serve Him in many ways. I view the commandments as important instructions along my journey to help me return to live with Him someday, the greatest joy imaginable. The Gospel anchors me.

How I live my faith

I have spent most of my adult life serving in many opportunities. For many years I worked with the children of the church teaching them music, lessons, in leadership opportunities, and as a den mother. I found great connections with the young women of the church and those connections have blessed my life. I also have served with the women of the church and found ministering to them one of the great blessings of my life. My opportunites to serve have strengthened me and made me a better person. Without these blessings of service, I would not be who I am today. My church family is also family to me.
