Hi I'm Angie

I am a wife and mother of 4 beautiful daughters that I love and we have a blast together. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Idaho, met my sweetheart in college and have been married for almost 15 years. I have four daughters ages 13 down to 4 and I love spending time with them. Some of our favorite things to do are watch movies and play board games. We have a great time together. I am a stay at home mom and love the time I get to spend with my preschooler.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior and that I can be with my family forever, even after death because of the work we participate in, in our Holy Temples. I believe in the Atonement of Jesus Christ and that because Christ died for me that I can repent and be forgiven of my sins. I am so grateful for that. I know I'm not perfect, but I also know I can become more like my Savior as I try to follow His example. I know that my Heavenly Father knows me, He knows my struggles, and He loves me. He gives me help, strength, guidance and comfort in my life as I try to follow His teachings and live as my Savior would have me live. I love the commandments, as they are the guide which leads us to true happiness. I know the Book of Mormon to be true words from God because I have studied it and prayed to know of its truth, and I have had that confirmed to me again and again as I feel the peace and comfort when I read. I know it's true! That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching my children of Jesus Christ and helping them understand their divine nature- that they are truly spirit children of our Heavenly Father. I try to show them by example how we should live. I also live my faith as I work to strengthen my marriage with my husband. Marriage takes work, and I try very hard to serve my husband, as he does me. Friday nights are my favorite night of the week because it's date night. In our church, we are given several opportunities to serve. Currently, I am the president of our women's organization, called the Relief Society. Our organization was organized by the Prophet, Joseph Smith in 1842 and its purpose is to build faith and personal righteousness, strengthen families and homes, and help those in need. Some things I do on a regular basis as the president of our organization are visit other women in need or arrange for and/or provide meals for families who may be in a difficult circumstance, such as a new baby, a death, or a family member in the hospital. We have activities where we serve one another, serve others in the community and grow in our testimonies of the gospel. I love that wherever in the world I go, I can always find a group of women who live my same standards and have a bond of friendship and love in the gospel. We have a program called "visiting teaching" where two women are paired together to visit other women to share a gospel message and assist in meeting needs. I love visiting with these women. It truly creates a sisterhood among the women of the church.
