Hi I'm Sam

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Oklahoma City and, joined the church late in life.

About Me

I love to play computer games, and go on adventures.

Why I am a Mormon

For several years a good friend of mine from High School who also was a convert asked me if I would read the Book of Mormon. I kindly declined him because of my own belief in Jesus Christ. In 2006 I was going through some troubling times in my life, and decided I would reivaluate my thinking with reguard to demoinational preference. I explored a variety of Churchs but, made a decision that I would give my friends church a chance also. I began reading the Book of Mormon, and was only able to get through half of the book. The time wasn't right to complete my journey. After a month of praying to our Heavenly Father for guidance as to what I needed to be doing in life. I kept thinking of the Book of Mormon so I started reading the scriptures once more and praying every night. I finished the Book of Mormon shortly after and had the missionaries over to my house. They told me I would not only understand the Book of Mormon but that I would truly believe its contents. I politely told them that I was not receiving any divine revalation as to the contents and they continued to pray for me. The last day the missionaries were set to come to the house. I told them I just wasn't receiving confirmation and the senior missionary told me that the holy spirit resides in my home and that I will receive confirmation just continue praying. I thanked him and his partner and when they left. I bowed down and gave my prayer to our most loving Father in Heaven. He sent his confirmation like a Thunderbolt from heaven unto my soul. I know the Book of Mormon is a true testimony of our heavenly fathers plan, and thank him for dealing with me with patience.

How I live my faith

It has been my pleasure to serve others since I was a boy I have been dedicated to helping anyone that needs help. I have served the Lord in various ways within the organization and will continue to do anything he asks of me.
