Hi I'm Andy

I'm a airplane pilot, cyclist, law student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Life can be so busy and hectic. One of my favorite things to do is jump on my bike and cycle out into the country. It’s so refreshing to feel the breeze and get away from the city and stress for a while. It can be easier to feel close to God when all the noise and distractions are gone.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because I read the Book of Mormon and Bible and simply felt that both books were from God. The Book of Mormon in particular led me to believe in Jesus Christ. Reading the scriptures each day has helped me to see things for what they really are. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is just the best way to live.

How I live my faith

The best way to be a Christian is by serving and helping others. My favorite way to serve is by helping other cyclists on the trail. Early on in my cycling, I got a flat and then didn't know how to use the CO2 cartridge to refill the spare. I blew up the spare. Luckily, a kind cyclist stopped and gave me another tube. I offered to pay but the biker wouldn't take the money. I decided that the way I could repay him and God for the help is by helping everyone I can on the trail when others have flats or problems. It feels good.
