Hi I'm Jen Anderson

I'm a Mormon. I married my high school sweetheart. I have 5 beautiful children. I am thankful everyday for my many blessings.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of 5 children, ages 11-2. I am blessed to stay home with them. I love photography and I take pictures for families and children as a hobbie/personal business.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church. My parents were converts and I was sealed to them in the Temple when I was 3. I always knew the church was true, but that didn't stop me from some rebellion in my teenage years. My mom passed away when I was 17 and it was a very hard time for my family. We didn't bond together in the gospel like I wish we would have. I always knew I wanted to be married in the Temple but I think I did loose sight of that goal for a while. My husband and I were married (he is a convert) and a year later we were sealed together in the Temple. How incredibly grateful I am for my Savior. Through the atonement, I was able to repent and fully partake of the blessings that come from being in the Temple. But I have found out that the atonement is so much more. It heals guilt and pain and heartache. The Saviou can heal ALL of our pain if we turn to him and lay our burdens at His feet. I know the church is true. I know that the plan of salvation is His perfect plan and that we will find eternal joy & happiness if we live the comandments. I know that there is a prophet on the earth today and that he leads and guide this church. I know the Bible and the Book of Mormon are true and that they hold the answers we need to lifes hardest questions. I know that Jesus Christ set a perfect example for us and that He loves me. I know that our trials bring us strength and knowledge if we turn to Him for comfort and that we can find peace. I am so very grateful to belong to Christ's church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I am currently the president of the Relief Society in my ward. This is a womens organization that was organized by Heavenly Father through the prophet Joseph Smith. We serve eachother and the community and help with humanitarian aid throughout the world. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve.
