Hi I'm Lynden but I also go by Cliff

I've been fortunate to have travelled a lot courtesy of the U.S. Air Force. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a married father of 3 who spent 22 years in the U.S. Air Force. I truly enjoy hunting and fishing primarily because it let's me spend time away from the hectic day-to-day hustle and bustle of today's modern world. Although I love spending time on our small farm, some of my most cherished memories are of time spent with family.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into this church there came a time when I needed to decide for myself if what I had learned from my parents was the path I wanted to continue. My defining, testimony building experience came as a brand new missionary serving in Vienna, Austria. Although I had never really doubted my upbringing and had full faith and confidence in the power of prayer, it was as a jet-lagged missionary that I knelt down and begged my Father in Heaven for assurance and direction. From that moment on I've never looked back as tine answer was sure and definitive.

How I live my faith

I am certainly not a perfect man...but I'm trying. The Lord has blessed me so abundantly I can scarcely believe why He is so mercifully kind in continuing to pour out His blessings on this weak man that I am. Blessings come through obedience, not perfection. As I obey, I am blessed. I thoroughly enjoy serving in the church. Even though the hours are sometimes long and not necessarily convenient, in some small way I hope I'm making a difference in the lives of the young men with whom I serve. Each has his own strengths and brings value and purpose to the other young men in our ward. I shudder to think where I'd be without the knowledge of my Father in Heaven's Plan of Salvation. I'm grateful to my ancestors for their faith and obedience that allowed me to be raised in the fullness of the gospel. I love my family. I am truly blessed.
