Hi I'm Robyn Stieler

I'm a grandmother, I'm retired and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Grandmother of 5 with more coming. I have been in the Church since the age of 10. I live in Ipswich, Queensland. I love doing my family history and I am going to write four books about my family. The first one is just about done. I also love doing jigsaws and puzzles. I have been married for 35 years and have three sons. I am now retired after working many years as a teacher aide at a special school. I still go back and work when they need me. I spend may happy hours looking after my Grandchildren. My husband and I would like to do a little traveling over seas while we still have the health.

Why I am a Mormon

I might not have known when I was young about the truthfulness of the Gospel but as the years come and gone I have gained a wonderful testimony of our Saviour and our Heavenly Father. I could not now live my life without worshipping each week at Church. I know that I am a daughter of my Havenly Father and he wants me to do my best to get back to live with him and my family who have passed on before me. I love the fact that I am not alone spiritually and that we have a reason to be on earth and that my life does not end when I die. I love my family and I have great comfort in the fact that when my loved ones pass on I can, if I am worthy be able to be with them again and that my husband and I are married for all time and not just to death do up part. I am very grateful that my elder brother Jesus Christ went and gave his life so we can use repentance in our lives as we strive to live as we should. The Church gives me and my family the guidence we need to live as we should so we can progress in this life so we might be like our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to do what is right each and every day. I say my prayers, I read my scriptures, I strive to do the best I can in the Church callings I have. I pay my tithing and help where I can if people have problems and are sick. I go to the temple of the Lord when ever I can. There is nothing more wonderfuller than the feeling you have when you sit in the Lords house and remember the covenants you have made with our Heavenly Father. I hope that I set an example to all who I come in contact with. I hope that I am a nice person to be around. I do not swear or take the Lords name in vain. I wear modest clothes. I live the Word of Wisdom where I do not smoke or drink alcohol, take drugs or drink tea or coffee. If that makes me boring so be it. I can not live any other way now.
