Hi I'm Anne

I'm a wife, mother, sister, teacher, friend, and water fitness instructor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my husband in July of 1999. We have 3 beautiful and energetic young boys. I work part time at our local YMCA. I'm also a certified water fitness instructor. I enjoy reading, swimming, exercising, scrapbooking, cooking, watching movies, and most of all spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because I have received a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This testimony is something that I gained as a youth growing up in the church. As a young child, going to church was something my family did each and every Sunday. I went to church because that's what we did. As I grew older I gained a testimony for myself that what I was being taught was true. Through attending church, reading scriptures, prayer, and whisperings of the Holy Spirit my testimony grew and continues to grow. I know without a doubt that Jesus is the Christ and he came to earth and suffered for our sins. He died for us, so that we may live again. I believe in a living prophet who leads and guides us today, just as ancient prophets of old. Through prayer and study, I know the Book of Mormon is a true book of scripture. Along with the Bible, it's another testament of Jesus Christ. We have a loving and kind Heavenly Father, who love us and wants us to be happy. He hears our prayers and answers them (even if it's not always the answer or the timing we want). He is always there for us, we just have to take the time to come to Him. He wants to hear from us. I testify to you with my whole heart and and every part of my being, that I know with a surety that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true, it my not always be easy or even popular, but I cannot deny it's truth and the great blessings my family and I have received and continue to receive by following it's teachings.

How I live my faith

I'm active in my church community. I'm currently serving a the Cub Scout Committee chair at our church. In the past I have served numerous times in our children's Sunday school classes. I have also served in several capacities in our Women's group. I live my Mormon faith each and every day. I try to stand as a witness of God in all I do and say. I'm not perfect, but I do my best and that's all the Lord asks of us. I'm grateful for my faith and the testimony I have received of our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. My husband and I strive to make our home a haven and refuge from the busy, crazy and sometime scary world in which we live; a place where our children can feel love, safety, and grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love my faith and feel so blessed to live in a country where I can openly live it each and every day. I can honestly say that without my faith and knowledge of the Gospel, I don't know where I would be today.
