Hi I'm Kim

I'm a Mormon. As a first generation American it makes me happy that my religion promotes patriotism.

About Me

I am blessed to be a mother of three sons. In my employment I have the pleasure of teaching Special Education Students. Currently I am attending college to fulfill a life long goal of completing my degree. My hobby is photography and writing.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child I dearly loved my family and it meant so much to me to know that my family could be together in this life and after this life. I came to know how the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored upon the earth and I have taken sacred convenants with my Heavenly Father through baptism and a temple marriage. My husband and I have been married for 31 years and I feel our success in our marriage comes through the teachings we have learned through living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through scripture study and prayer I have gained a testimony that Heavenly Father has not left us alone and restored the gospel of his son Jesus Christ through the prophet Joseph Smith and through a living prophet today. It was through prayer and fasting that we were able to have children born to us and consider them miracles.

How I live my faith

I am please to be a member of the oldest and largest women's organization in the world whose main purpose is Charity. I also feel part of my mission in life is to let others know about the Addiction Recovery Program that our church provides for addicts and their families. These programs are based on a twelve step program not only for the addict but their families and friends also. I am a Food Addict and this program and the work I do there has helped me to understand the true meaning of forgiveness through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father is my Higher Power. I am able to share with others inside and outside of the church about the Addiction Recovery Program and doing this service brings me great joy and peace and recovery from addiction.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

The peace that has come from forgiveness of my sins and living the gospel of his son Jesus Christ testifies to me there is a God. He performs miracles today just like in days of old. Show more Show less
