Hi I'm Suzie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi. My name is Suzie. I am married and have two teenage children and two grown twin stepchildren. I work as an accounting representative for an engineering company. I enjoy sewing and quilting, baking, cooking and gardening.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints nine years ago. I knew that it would be difficult to raise two children on my own. I prayed for God's help and guidance. I immediately came into contact with my Mormon friends who suggested that I visit with the missionaries. Then I got baptised! Now I am married and we are able to face issues that arise with faith and comfort knowing that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us and provides everything that we need. I enjoy learning more about the gospel as I attend church meetings. There are many opportunities to serve others in the church, which in turn builds friendships and a great support system.

How I live my faith

I am fortunate to be able to work with the young women. These beautiful girls have so much joy and hope and courage, it is really inspiring to me . . . and a lot of fun! I also recently began serving in the Addiction Recovery Program, which is a program that the church provides to assist people recovering from substance abuse and addictive behaviors. By working through the steps of the program, I am learning more each week about how our Savior has compassion for us and that our lives can have so much hope and happiness.
