Hi I'm Rachael

I'm a registered nurse. I'm a water-skier and new mountain biker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors! I'm grateful to live in Utah, because I thoroughly enjoy everything about the changing seasons. Everything except wet pant cuffs in the winter that is...During the summer I like to spend my time hiking in the mountains, running, swimming, and doing anything behind the boat. When it's cold out, I enjoy snowboarding with my family and drinking hot chocolate. I graduated with my bachelors in nursing in the spring and just began working in the operating room as a circulator. I love learning and all of the opportunities it creates. I can't wait to see what's in store!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ is the light of my life. It fills me with hope, peace and joy beyond compare. Study of the gospel enlivens my soul and strengthens me. As I strive to submit my will to my Heavenly Father I find true happiness. The joy and peace that come through the gospel of Jesus Christ cannot be found in anything that the world has to offer. It fills the empty spaces and brings new light to each day. I am a Mormon, because as I strive to follow the direction of the living prophet and apostles, my life is profoundly blessed. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins. I know that He suffered our pains, trials, afflictions and temptations. I know that because He has already overcome our weaknesses, He will help us do the same if we earnestly seek His help. I know He lives, because He lifts and strengthens me daily. He is my hope. He is my joy. He is my Savior. I love Him and want to follow Him. I know that families can be sealed together for all eternity through sacred temple ordinances. There is no sacrifice too great to make it to the temple. I am a Mormon, because it is through the gospel of Jesus Christ that I can be with my family forever and return to live with my Heavenly Father again someday.

How I live my faith

This past school year I had the unique opportunity to serve on the welcoming committee at the institute of religion near my home. I worked closely with other young single adults in an effort to help them feel the love of our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. I invited others to enroll in gospel related classes taught at the institute and helped create a friendly environment there. I am a visiting teacher to four young women within my ward boundaries. I feel blessed by this opportunity to seek to follow the Savior's pattern of serving individuals one by one. I definitely have a long way to go, but I am blessed by the guidance of the Holy Ghost.
