Hi I'm Nathan

I live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. I'm an anesthesiologist and love to fly small airplanes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the father of one beautiful daughter and have been married for 25 years. My wife and daughter are my best friends and a source of great joy in my life. We enjoy traveling together and have recently visited the country of my wife's ancestors. As a hobby, I personally love piloting small planes. For the last 6 years I've flown single engine piston aircraft out of Centennial Airport. My family and I have utilized the small plane to make wonderful memories visiting many National Parks and sites of the Intermountain West.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS faith - coming from a long line and heritage of Mormon ancestors. I have always felt the LDS church is true, but I didn't develop my own personal faith and conviction of this truth until I prayerfully asked God if the Book of Mormon was true. I received an answer to my prayers and have tried to live my life according to these truths ever since. The Gospel of Jesus Christ, as described in the Holy Bible and Book of Mormon, contains the doctrines and principles that will lead all men to happiness - both in this life and in the life to come. Striving to live according to our Savior's teachings has helped me to be a better person and to live a happier, more productive, and contented life.

How I live my faith

Following our Savior, Jesus Christ, means living our lives according to His teachings - trying to live and serve as He did. With its lay ministry, the LDS church provides life-long opportunities to serve our fellowman. In the church I've had the challenge and pleasure to serve in youth organizations, be a Sunday School teacher, and even serve as a Bishop - similar to being a pastor. Each opportunity to serve has provided learning experiences and the chance to become more like Him. The lessons taught by our Savior and learned in the LDS church have helped to make me a better man - a better father, husband, and citizen. I try each day to follow Jesus by expressing more love, looking for and acknowledging the good in others, speaking with kindness, and keeping the commandments of God and laws of the land.
