Hi I'm Melissa

I'm a dental student, a 2LT in the Army, a wife, a dog owner and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am a dental student living in the middle of Los Angeles with my husband and dog. I am in the military to honor my grandfathers' service and pay for school. In my free time I love working with volunteer dental clinics serving children in undeserved communities, contribute to a modest fashion blog, and spend time with my husband, dog and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and His saving grace. I believe that through His atonement I can change myself for the better. I look to my Savior as a perfect example of a charitable life and try my best to follow in his foot steps.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth group in my ward. I spend time with and help provide opportunities for the girls in my ward to learn, serve, and grow into functioning, confident, Christ centered women. Mostly I just love them. Personally, I spend time at monthly volunteer clinics and other day clinics to help provide dental care, education, and prevention for kids in undeserved communities. I love talking to the kids, teaching them how to take care of their bodies, and seeing so many beautiful healthy smiles.
