Hi I'm Lance

I love the outdoors. I feel best when I am hunting, fishing, hiking or camping with friends and family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of three. My wife and I have been married for seven years. We have two boys, 6 and 1 and a girl 4. I played football, basketball and ran track in High Scchool and played football in college. I still love sports and am excited for my kids to see which sports they enjoy. My daughter dances and plays soccer and my son has played soccer and baseball so far. I own a manufacturing company and enjoy designing and selling new and innovative products. I have become a decent welder and love to build things out of wood, plastic and metal. I built the house that we live in now and continue to do contracting work on the side. My grandfather taught me construction as I grew up. I love to hunt and fish. I also enjoy backpacking and camping with my friends and family. I feel best when I am outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel closest to God when I am studying and living the principles taught and practiced in the LDS Church. During my lifetime there have been times when I have been more faithful and times when I have not been as faithful as I should have. The difference between living a life that is based upon the teachings of Christ and living a self centered and undisciplined lifestyle is very obvious as I refliect upon the choices I have made. I know that I'll never be perfect, but I can see clearly that the Church and and it's teachings offer peace, happiness and fulfillment. These are things that I have not found abundantly in the world. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am in charge of the Young Mens' program in the area of the Church where we live. I organize activities that teach young men the basic teachings of the Church and skills that will help them to be good fathers and husbands. We are involved in Scouting and service work within our community.
