Hi I'm Vaughn

I have been a Mormon my entire life. I am a Christian and I love spending time with my family and friends. The church is true.

About Me

I am a Mechanical Engineer. I am married and have 8 children, four boys and four girls. I work at a Pulp and Paper Mill. I love to watch and play sports. I love football, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, swimming, and surfing. I love to spend time with my family and friends. We like to play games and watch movies. I love helping others and being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. I developed a testimony by reading and pondering the scriptures, praying to Father in Heaven, and listening to the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost has revealed to me that the Church is true and and I will receive the greatest amount of joy and happiness by following the example set by my elder brother Jesus Christ. I love serving others and doing the will of Heavenly Father. The Church makes me and my family happy. I know we have a living prophet on the earth today. I know he received revelation from Heavenly Father to lead and guide this Church. I know he loves us will do anything to help us return to his presence. I love going to the House of the Lord, which is called the Temple. I know family can be together forever by making and keeping sacred covenants in the Temple.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying, reading the scriptures, attending Church, and attending the temple. I love being a Hometeacher. I visit members of our Church and teach them the gospel. I also enjoyed serving members of our Church and community. I am a Bishop in the ward, and invite everyone in our community to attend Church and follow the example of Jesus Christ. I love my faith by living the gospel of Jesus Christ by giving of my time, talents, and abilities to build up the kingdom of God upon the earth.
