Hi I'm Linda

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in England and emigrated to Australia in 1991. I am a mum of 2 boys and a grandmother of 3 girls and 2 boys. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my family, life here in Australia and chocolate. My passion for several years has been Family History and I now serve as a missionary in this field. I enjoy gardening and actually like cleaning my house. I like spending time with friends, lunching and going to the movies, when time allows.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother joined the Church when I was 6 years old, and I was baptised when 8 years old. My 7 siblings also joined the Church. Even though I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints virtually all my life, the time came when I needed to find out for myself if the Church was true. I have had many trials in my life and know that the only way I have been able to stand through those times has been because of my faith and testimony in my saviour Jesus Christ. Many prayers have been said and many tears have been shed, but I have always known that my Saviour loves me and those prayers have been answered, and so I stand firm today.

How I live my faith

I have had the joy of working in the Church organisation in many roles over the years, from teaching the children in Sunday School to being president of the Women's organisation. I have learnt so much and made many friendships that will last for ever. My present work in Family History is very challenging, and keeps me on my toes, but I continue to learn and grow.
