Hi I'm Michael Hughes

I was raised in the church. I have moved to several places and now in Colorado and love it! I have a wife and 3 girls.

About Me

I'm a simple man really. Smart, successful smashing good looks, a real suiter. I love nature, helping the homeless, and cooking with my grandmother just to create memories. Do I work out you ask? Well I'd like to be modest, but can you say Tri-athelete, and if you can't say that well simply say 16 1/2 inch biceps. If I look familiar you are probably an avid reader of GQ or Mens Health. Any way I enjoy going to Church, teaching Foreign Children English, and gourmet cooking. You might say to yourself yes but what are Michael's talents. Well if I must answer, Poetry, playing the Spanish Guitar (or what I like to call the strings of Love) and understanding more than just peoples voices, but understanding peoples hearts. At least thats what Maya Angelou said at the awards ceremony when I was nominated for my first Nobel Peace prize. If you'd like to know more. Don't be shy, go ahead and drop Dr. Hughes a line. Ciao :-)

Why I am a Mormon

I lOVE being a Mormon for so many reasons I can't list them all here. I was raised in the Bible Belt in Texas and always was treated different growing up. I used to think that was awkward but realized what a powerful example I was to others. I was able to help bring many people to learn about the true gospel and join the church. I still love sharing principles of the church and doing missionary work. When I left to go on my mission, I could read and taught myself how to read by reading the Book of Mormon. I had to learn what we believe and gain my own testimony before I could feel could about preaching it to others. I gained a strong personal testimony on my mission and still grows everyday. As I have grown in faith, my testimony of the gospel has grow too. If their is anything I know is true in this life is that I KNOW that Christ is at the head of this church and he loves of and has a plan for us to all return back to our Heavily Father.

How I live my faith

I have served in many position in the church. I have been a Ward Missionary and I teach taught the Gospel Principle class for the last 5 years. I love it. I love church and the principles it teaches. It give me so much peace following the "laws" of God.
