Hi I'm Brooke

I'm a Wife, a Mother, a Nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For the last 6 years I have been in a contant state of transition; getting my college degree, getting married, starting a family, and following my husband around the country for his work. It is crazy sometimes but I wouldn't trade it for the world. With my husband by my side I feel like I can do anything. I graduated from nursing school and got my bachelor's degree. People often ask me what I do, I tell them I am a stay-at-home mom and I LOVE it. Being with my family is my favorite place to be!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church so I don't know any different. But I choose to stay in the church because it makes me happy. Many of my peers, or others that I know, seem confused and unsteady. Their lives are complicated because of the choices they make. One of the great blessings of the gospel is the direction it provides. I know all actions carry consiquences, good and bad. I also know our choices have a much longer impact on our lives than just our time here on earth. Keeping the commandments and following the council of the Prophet keeps me healthy, safe, and happy. To me, the answer is simple, LIVE the gospel and be HAPPY.

How I live my faith

We move frequently between my husband's work and school, so I have lots of opportunities to get to know people from all over. At church, my husband and I have served in the nursery watching the little kids so their parents can attend their classes. Currently we are serving as Ward Missionaries, getting to know new converts and those investigating the church. When I am assigned as a Vistiting Teacher, I go to other womens homes and visit them. I get to know them, give small lessons, and try to find opportunities to serve them and become friends.
