Hi I'm Kerstin

I'm a wife, mother, teacher, and student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love baking, cooking, creating, reading, decorating, blogging and being with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family, but being baptized, and active a member of the church has always been my own choice. I have felt the Holy Spirit witness to me that this is God's church, that I am a child of God, that I am here on earth to learn and grow and become like my Father and Mother in Heaven. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for our pains and sins making it possible for each one of us to be forgiven. I am so grateful for the personal testimony that I have. The gospel of Jesus Christ has guided and directed me throughout my life. I know the God lives and loves each one of us.

How I live my faith

Currently I am an Activity Day leader for girls ages 8-9. We get together on a weeknight twice a month and do crafts, games, service projects and other activities. I love seeing the girls learn and grow. I visit two women each month to share a gospel message and help support them in anyway that I can. I love that when someone is sick or in need, that church members are there to help whether it is bringing a meal, comforting someone who has suffered a loss or shoveling a snow-covered driveway.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Mormons believe that the Bible is scripture that testifies of Christ. We believe that The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ in the Americas. The Bible and Book of Mormon are Holy Scriptures that contain the word of God. Mormons read the Bible as well as The Book of Mormon. Show more Show less
