Hi I'm Fernando

I am an assistant of International Trade, I love my family and friends! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work with Foreign Trade. I'm studying International Business at a university near my house. I'm married for less than a year so I feel like I'm still on honeymoon. I love hanging out with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I started attending to Church when I was a child just after my father's baptism. So I can say that I grew up in church. But some questions came to my mind when I was 14, so I started asking myself why I was going to church and doing those "mormon" things. I made a decision, that I would read the Book of Mormon and ask God if it was true. I knew that the Book of Mormon is the foundation of our religion, so I tought it would help me to make a conscious decision. If I had no answer I would talk to my parents about not going anymore to church. One day, I was in my bedroom, after reading the Book of Mormon I decided to kneel and pray. I prayed the most sincere ever in my life. I asked if the Book of Mormon was true and if all the things I hear at Church were true. When I finished my prayer, I felt something I had never felt before. I felt peace in my heart, I felt like I was floating, it's hard to explain. But I knew it was something that nobody else could put in my heart but God. After that, I found the strength keep on doing the things I, from that moment on, knew was true.

How I live my faith

Once I know our doctrine is true, i struggle to do my best, keeping the commandments. Something that help me increasing my faith and will to do good is daily scripture studying and praying. At Church, I work with the Young Men, I know they have lots of challenges, so I always share with them my testimony and the challenges I passed though when I was their age.
