Hi I'm Laura

I'm a mom of 3 (almost 4) children. I'm a dental hygienist. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I met my husband studying for my microbiology class in college, as I was trying to finish my pre-requisites for Dental Hygiene school. (I'm sure I got in a lot of quality study time!) We've now been married for 7 years. We now have 3 beautiful children (2 girls and 1 boy), plus one on the way! It seems I spend most my days wiping up spills, runny noses, and stinky bums ... but at the same time tickling cute feet, dressing up princesses, and reading some wonderful literature (Dr. Seuss!). Although my Dental Hygiene skills are getting a little rusty, I'm so extremely grateful to raise these sweet children. On the occasion I do enjoy shopping, singing, baking (of course only things that are very unhealthy), recently running and biking, and a little crafting. But mostly I enjoy being with my FAMILY.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the church brings me great happiness. I have an understanding of our Heavenly Father's eternal plan for me and have felt a strong confirmation that this is the Lord's church. I know that through our Savior, Jesus Christ, we can be saved and return to live with our Heavenly Father and families again some day.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by loving and serving my family, being a good example to others, teaching my children about Christ, and trying to view everyone around me as my brothers and sisters. At church I work with the young women as we seek for uplifting activities and opportunities to serve each other and the community. I love the gospel and my Savior, Jesus Christ.
