Hi I'm Joshua

I grew up on a farm. I still farm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from High School, did a little college but didn't fair to well at that. I loved working on the farm as a kid so much that I decided to make that my way of life. I grew up going to the local race track and watching car races. I still enjoy watching any form of car racing. I am a husband and father.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a mormon. I had the opportunity to serve a fultime mission for the church. During that time I gained my own testimony. That time serving others completely changed my life and the path I was on. I learned who I was and why we are here on earth. My testimony is this, I know we have a Father in Heaven. We are his children, he knows us individually by name. I know he hears and anwers prayer. I know our Savior, Jesus Christ died for me and he lives today. Through him, we are forgiven for our sins. I know that if we follow his teachings we will become better people. I know that families are eternal. I know that Joseph Smith restored the church of Jesus Christ back to the earth under Christ's direction. I know that the Book of Mormon is a companion to the Bible containing the teachings of Jesus Christ that will bless and benefit our lives today. I know there is a prophet on the earth today as there was in the days of old. He leads and guides us under the direction of Jesus Christ. I am thankful for the opportunity that each of us have to learn for ourselves and make our own choices. I am greatful for the knowledge I have and for the hope, comfort, and direction it gives me.

How I live my faith

I enjoying serving other people and have had many opportunities to serve in the church. I had the opportunity to teach the ten and eleven year olds about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have also worked and served with the youth teaching and organizing activities for youth ages 12-18. Recently I've worked with adults, teaching and counseling with them. Now I do each of these things on a broader scale. With these many opportunities of service they are constant reminders to me how to live my faith. I enjoy serving others and helping those in need.
