Hi I'm Emily

I'm a college student studying English. I'm recently married. I love classic literature.

About Me

I'm currently going to college, majoring in English. I grew up the youngest in a family of seven and I was homeschooled for high school and middle school. My goal is to become a professional writer. I was married in December of 2013 and I love being a newlywed!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is completely ingrained into who I am as a person; it has shaped my character, my life, and my entire soul. I have felt the presence of the Holy Ghost and the love of Christ so often in my life because of the peaceful environment that my parents and siblings created for me as a child, and I have learned to recognize God's hand in my life. I am Mormon because I know that Christ lives. I know that I am a child of my Heavenly Father. And I know I can't reach my full potential in this life without acknowledging the truth that is given me to know, and without reaching out for God's grace that I so desperately need. Simply, I am a Mormon because I love God and Christ.

How I live my faith

I started serving in the Church at a young age. When I was a teenager, I was asked to organize all the music in my ward. Now, in a ward for families, I play the piano for the little children's class.
