Hi I'm Danny D Dannels

I'm a Mormon, I converted to the church when I was 16 and was from Tucson Arizona. I retired from the US Postal in 2005.

About Me

I am from Tucson, AZ and converted to the church when I was 16. I married a girl from Ogden Utah where I was going to college at Weber State . My wife was from Ogden and a relative of N. Eldon Tanner who married us in the Salt Lake Temple. President Tanner when he came to the Temple said he was shaking cause he was getting closer to meeting his maker. President Tanner had Parkinson's disease at the time. I have 4 children all married in the Tempe. I have two sons and two daughter. My sons served full-time missions in Mexico. I have served in Sunday School Presidency, primary and Elders's quorum.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church after a invitation from a Bishop's wife. I started taking the Missionary lessons and really had no intention of joining the church until they talked about baptism of the dead and Temple marriage. I had always thought why work to accomplish things in this life and have them taken away at death. I have always felt after I joined the church that Joesph Smith did have a vision and that the church is true. I am a member for life and am proud to say I am a Latter Day Saint.

How I live my faith

I follow word of wisdom and try and set an example to friends, family and most people know I am a member of the church. I simply try to keep the commandments and try treat people as I would want people to treat me.
